Thrown in Brutalist clay and glazed in Aumoana which is a light egg shell blue glaze, Aumoana mean blue clay and oceanic in the reo Maori.
Tumu means foundation, stump, base, dependable leader and is the name of the main post of a Pā in te reo māori. The weight and structure of the vase speaks to its strong foundation.
These vases are perfect for blooms, dried flowers, as they are or in a collection.
