Thrown on the pottery wheel, each vase is unique. Angled edges and classic mid century shapes are a theme in this series.

Thrown in Brutalist clay and glazed in ōpapa, ōpapa is a honey toned satin glaze, glowy and warm with beautiful coverage, this glaze is a celebration of rutile a glaze ingredient that we love. Ōpapa means mineral in te reo Maori and talks to low lying whenua.

Tēina means younger brother or sister in te reo māori. We consider the tēina vase as a perfect addition to most of our vases and an evolution of the Tahi vase. The tēina vase has a lower hip then the tahi.

These vases are perfect for blooms, dried flowers, as they are or in a collection.
