This bowl has been hand thrown on the pottery wheel in wild Waiheke uku (clay), hand harvested from Rangihoua, Ngāti Paoa whenua.
This is a stunning dark red uku and has been glazed on the inside with Tōrea pango glaze, which is a satin black glaze. My favourite thing about this little jar is the blushing on the inside.
This is a one only and would be perfect for sugar or as a keep sake jar.
It is around 7cm tall and 9cm wide.
10% of all wild uku sales will be donated to Piritahi Marae here on Waiheke, Ngāti Paoa whenua.
