This vessel is hand thrown on the pottery wheel in a Rangihoua clay harvest here on Waiheke island. This ipu has a horizontal lug, lashed with muka from Mandy Milner and tassle made in studio.
This uku was harvested on Ngāti Paoa whenua.
Glazed internally with a clear glaze.
This is a one-off piece, apart of a wider collection celebrating Waiheke uku, 10% of sales will be gifted back to Maori kaupapa on Waiheke.
