Hand thrown on the potter’s wheel, the Piccolo tumbler is perfect for a short black, Piccolo, short mac or espresso. The piccolo tumbler is the smaller of the three sizes at around 200ml in volume.
The pieces are double dipped in a smooth glaze, and finished with a raw clay base.
These are 7.5cm-8cm tall and 6-6.5cm wide.
Karamea translates to "caramel" in Te reo Māori but also talk to the clay banks we have here on Waiheke Island, This glaze is a satin glaze with lovely warm, pink and peach tones, while being a classic terracotta colour contrasting the grey brutalist clay which is a hard waring clay, that has a light feel and concrete look.
