Kereru vase is named after our native wood pigeon. We have a family of kereru that visit us everyday in our garden out side the studio.
This is a bottle style deisgn perfect for single steams, small bunches of fresh or dried blooms or stand alone as a sculptured piece.
Hand thrown on the pottery wheel here on Waiheke Island.
Made in brutalist clay and glazed in our bespoke glaze Kirikiri which is a matte glaze which shows the natural elements of the clay body. Kirikiri means shore line in te red Maori.
